About The Position

The Manager, Security Operations Center (SOC) plays a key role in safeguarding people, property, and overall operations by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents in real time for all DrinkPAK locations. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and technologically adept professional who can operate effectively in a high-tempo, mission-critical team environment. Requirements

  • Bachelors in criminal justice, emergency management or related field preferred
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in security operations, law enforcement, emergency response, or military preferred.
  • Proficiency with security systems (CCTV HELIAUS, access control, alarm monitoring, and Everbridge intelligence platform type monitoring) and related software programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and focused under pressure in crisis situations.
  • Ability to listen, understand, summarize, transfer and retain basic instructions and detailed information.
  • Ability to monitor multiple audiovisual security information systems for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment on rotating shifts.
  • Competence in coaching, mentoring, and motivating contract security professionals, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the DPSOC systems, including CCTV, HELIAUS, access control, and intrusion detection on shift and manage and dispatch contract security professionals as necessary.
  • Facilitate DPSOC operation and security response outside business hours as necessary.
  • Support business operational workflow using security-specific and Company-wide communication platforms.
  • Triage, assess, handoff and/or escalate incidents following established protocols.
  • Act as the first point of contact during emergencies and coordinate internal security, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain situational awareness and provide timely updates to leadership.
  • Manage daily 24x7x365 contract security patrol professionals at all DrinkPAK facilities (currently Santa Clarita, CA, Fort Worth, TX, and Philadelphia, PA).
  • Draft and deliver incident reports, vetting /approval of contract security situation updates, and daily activity logs.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site security teams, senior security head, and national stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical events to management while maintaining professional composure.
  • Assist in security investigations by reviewing video and access logs.
  • Ensure operational readiness of all DPSOC technologies and report malfunctions immediately.
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, teams/texts and properly process them.
  • File proper reports related to different types of alerts and incidents.
  • Be adaptable to taking on further assignments as directed by Senior security management, recognizing the dynamic and evolving nature of a SOC/manager responsibilities.
