About The Position

Jobber is seeking a results-driven Manager, Outbound Sales to join their growing team. Jobber provides technology solutions for small home service businesses, enabling them to manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. The Outbound Sales team operates with a cold outbound motion, where an SDR team books meetings for Outbound Account Executives to build pipeline. Team members are passionate about sales, customers, and the company's purpose, with a focus on mutual success through regular 1:1s for performance, coaching, and development.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales management, ideally in a high-volume, SDR-supported outbound environment.
  • Track record of ambitious career growth, exceeding targets, and motivating others.
  • Experience in and a passion for driving outbound sales motions.
  • Strong ability to source, interpret, and analyze data, and use it to improve performance and results.
  • Commitment to coaching and development, with the ability to identify strengths and opportunities in the team and approach performance and development conversations effectively.
  • Next-level communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Incredible passion for sales, customers, and the company's purpose.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Google Sheets, or comparable tools, for tracking and analyzing performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of up to 10 outbound account executives.
  • Drive performance by building and testing outreach strategies to grow pipeline.
  • Achieve world-class conversion rates throughout the sales process.
  • Exceed new customer and revenue targets.
  • Drive team performance, growth, and development through a coaching-first mentality and high standards of excellence and accountability.
  • Interview and hire new team members.
  • Build and test outreach strategies.
  • Review and coach calls.
  • Develop direct reports' skills.
  • Use data to identify trends.
  • Build growth and development plans.
  • Hold the team accountable to ensure no opportunity is overlooked.
  • Collaborate with co-managers, the SDR team, Enablement, and RevOps to build a world-class sales organization.
  • Drive new customer and revenue growth by setting goals and exceeding team targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Demonstrate high sales acumen and mastery of the craft through call reviews, role-plays, training creation and delivery, and direct customer interaction.
  • Inspire the team to go above and beyond by connecting personal goals to the company and team mission.
  • Lead weekly meetings and report on monthly/quarterly targets and key metrics, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
  • Build a sales culture that values feedback and is highly data-driven.
  • Build a "winning" sales process across the Outbound Team that meets the needs of home service business owners.
  • Analyze, communicate, and re-communicate sales metrics and forecasting to understand initiative and program effectiveness.
  • Attract, recruit, hire, and train highly motivated, mission-driven, customer-obsessed sales team members.
  • Collaborate with other sales leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure effective rollout of campaigns, product launches, and customer initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador of the company culture by being humble, supportive, and customer-focused.
