About The Position

The Americas Sales Operations Manager at The North Face supports the Americas Sales organization by improving the tools, processes, resources, and communication that help wholesale teams operate effectively and drive sales performance. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering with teams across Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer, Product, Operations, Analytics, and more. The role plays a key part in managing seasonal sales processes, supporting the B2B platform, coordinating product samples and sales programs, maintaining critical sales tools, and ensuring the Sales organization has the necessary information and resources to execute successfully.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in Sales Operations or Sales Enablement.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize multiple workstreams, coordinate across teams, and keep priorities moving forward.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/calendar management tools used to schedule, assign, communicate, and coordinate work across cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including experience working with complex formulas and large or detailed data sets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and levels.
  • Sound business acumen and the ability to understand how operational decisions impact broader sales and business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset when supporting internal partners and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify needs and take ownership of solutions.
  • A track record of following through and delivering high-quality work on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity and comfort using AI and emerging tools to improve efficiency, solve problems, and strengthen processes.
  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for at least four hours at a time when supporting meetings, events, or operational activities.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5–10%, including local and out-of-market sales meetings.
  • Ability to travel between Denver HQ, the VF Lab, and the VF Warehouse as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end functionality and ongoing management of The North Face B2B platform.
  • Partner with internal B2B teams to manage seasonal product loads, calendars, catalogs, and key deadlines.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Planning, Packaging, Sales, and Global teams to ensure seasonal information, imagery, copy, and other inputs are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Partner with Planning to support seasonal closeout catalogs for prior-season inventory.
  • Communicate B2B updates to the Sales organization while gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate seasonal B2B photo shoots, including planning, on-site support, and final asset review.
  • Manage the end-to-end seasonal sample process for the Americas organization, partnering with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate seasonal sample orders while helping teams remain within established budgets.
  • Provide proactive communication and reporting on sample status, audits, delivery timing, and key process milestones.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders related to Americas seasonal samples.
  • Develop tools and resources that enable teams to easily access information and self-serve where possible.
  • Help develop and execute a seasonal sample lifecycle strategy that supports showroom needs while maximizing reuse and reducing waste and cost.
  • Coordinate sample carryover, returns, warehouse activity, and logistics across the Americas organization.
  • Support the implementation and management of seasonal sales programs within the B2B platform.
  • Review program requests based on established discount parameters and account strategies.
  • Analyze seasonal program performance and provide insights and recommendations to Sales leadership.
  • Manage the Sales Basecamp SharePoint site as the central repository for key sales information, tools, and resources.
  • Develop and distribute weekly communications highlighting important updates, tools, deadlines, and priorities for the Sales organization.
  • Maintain sales tools, templates, dashboards, and systems to ensure information remains accurate, accessible, and useful.
  • Support Sales team members with questions related to tools, systems, and processes.
  • Coordinate account maintenance, including account classifications, tiering, and sales representative assignments across relevant systems.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Sales Operations on seasonal milestone execution, including warehouse coordination and support for key sales events.
  • Support special projects and process improvements that strengthen the effectiveness of the Americas Sales organization.
