About The Position

Horizon3.ai is redefining how organizations defend themselves against modern cyber threats. Our autonomous security platform, NodeZero, helps companies proactively find and fix vulnerabilities before attackers do. We're looking for a Manager, Mid-Enterprise Sales Engineering to lead and develop a team of Sales Engineers supporting our Mid-Enterprise business. This role combines people leadership, technical sales strategy, and cross-functional partnership to help scale the team, improve technical win rates, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience managing customer-facing technical teams
  • Experience supporting Mid-Market, Mid-Enterprise, and Enterprise sales motions
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including vulnerability management, identity, cloud security, and security operations
  • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex technical sales cycles and proof-of-value engagements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Located in U.S. EST or CST Time Zone

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Mid-Enterprise Sales Engineers team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer focus.
  • Establish best practices for discovery, demos, proof-of-value engagements, and technical deal strategy, coaching the team through complex opportunities and competitive situations.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to drive pipeline progression, improve win rates, and support strategic customer engagements.
  • Develop onboarding, playbooks, and repeatable sales engineering motions to enable team scalability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Enablement to improve customer outcomes and integrate field feedback.
