The Initial Limit Management function within Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) is responsible for setting and managing Initial Credit Line Assignment policies and strategies for the U.S. Consumer Credit Card portfolio. Credit line assignment is a key driver of lending growth and portfolio profitability, and a critical lever for enhancing Card Member engagement and delivering a superior customer experience. The function operates within a well-established framework that leverages advanced algorithms, predictive models, and business rules to inform decision-making. This position reports to the Director of Initial Limit Assignment and works in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Decision Science, Technology, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Servicing. As an individual contributor Manager (B35), this role is expected to independently drive the execution and enhancement of Initial Line Assignment strategies. The incumbent will balance revenue growth with contingent liability risk to support sustainable portfolio performance, while identifying opportunities to improve and evolve line management capabilities.
