The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day. US Consumer Services is seeking a Manager of Risk Identification & Assessment focused on proactively identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting Operational Risk across business unit processes supporting Global Lounges, Travel & Lifestyle Services, and U.S. Insurance. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and American Express policies while strengthening business resilience through the effective assessment and management of inherent and residual risks. The Manager will play a key role in embedding a strong risk and control environment within day-to-day business operations. This position requires extensive collaboration across multiple business units and functional areas to drive risk assessments, evaluate control effectiveness, support risk mitigation activities, and enhance the overall operational risk management framework.
