About The Position

This role is responsible for the daily operations of a departmental unit and manages the performance of department unit staff utilizing data (KPIs, metrics, etc). The Manager Revenue Cycle will perform tactical planning and carry out the strategic plan, while effectively managing staff resources, within budget and quality standards. This includes development and performance management within areas of responsibility, translating the departmental vision into meaningful and effective results. The position requires monitoring key performance indicators and preparing various status reports for management to analyze trends and determine opportunities for improvement to deliver successful results.

Requirements

  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • Proficient in revenue cycle functions related to coding
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications
  • Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
  • Experience of Revenue Cycle Systems ( i.e EPIC)
  • Strong execution skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration or related field
  • RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association
  • RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association
  • CPC - Certified Professional Coder - American Academy of Professional Coders
  • CCS - Certified Clinical Supervisor - Pennsylvania Certification Board
