About The Position

The Manager of the Revenue Cycle and Patient Access Representative team will provide leadership and support to the staff as well as operational management. Manages the daily operations for one or more functions within Revenue Cycle Patient Access such as patient scheduling, registration and admissions functions.

Requirements

  • Experience leading with metrics and driving staff accountability and engagement.
  • Progressive leadership experience.
  • Experience with Patient Access /Registration.
  • Experience with EHR.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Five years' experience, with two years' in leadership.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Responsible for management functions including activities related to staffing such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, and compensation determination.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
  • Monitors departmental budgets and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
