About The Position

The Revenue Audit Manager is responsible for the successful coordination of activities in the income audit department. This role involves supervising Revenue Auditors, supporting the Income Audit Manager in assigning work, directing employees, scheduling, and training the audit team to ensure maximum efficiency. The manager will also participate in the employee selection process, set performance standards, align individual performance with organizational goals, and handle employee discipline. A key aspect of this role is implementing and ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures, gaming regulations, and internal controls. The position requires auditing various departments including the Main Cage, Count Room, retail, valet, and Food and Beverage, as well as associated paperwork, to ensure compliance with company policies, New York state regulations, and Federal and State laws. The manager will issue exception reports for violations, analyze and create spreadsheets, attend meetings and training sessions, and provide outstanding customer and employee relations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience in the gaming industry required.
  • Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.
  • Ability to talk and hear.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to climb or balance.
  • Ability to stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Varied instances of standing/walking.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and inference.
  • Ability to create, read and analyze spreadsheets of statistical data.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Second language a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Revenue Auditors and support the Income Audit Manager in assigning work and responsibilities.

  • Audit paperwork generated by various revenue departments to ensure compliance with company policies, New York state regulations, and Federal and State laws.
  • Issue exception reports for violations of company policies, procedures, New York state regulations, and Federal and State laws.
  • Analyze and create spreadsheets, comply with all company policies and procedures, New York state regulations, and Federal and State laws.
  • Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
  • Demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and employee relations at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
