Leads team in optimizing the effectiveness, efficiency and safety of the therapeutic procedures and techniques utilized by Respiratory Care personnel for optimal patient care, maintain CAP compliance for all Respiratory Care Blood Gas labs, and ensure appropriate and effective utilization of financial resources. Responsibilities

  • Coordinates staff development
  • Oversees all Respiratory Care Blood Gas satellite labs.
  • Manages Respiratory Care Supply Assistants, Respiratory Care Night Supervisors and conducts performance reviews.
  • Ensures all financial resources are utilized effectively-monitor expenses against budget, order supplies etc.
  • Directs activities to achieve operational plans with some near term effect on results of the department/area.
  • Identifies issues, gathers facts to resolve technical and operational problems.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge and skills of a professional/technical area and basic management knowledge to manage the work of the team.
  • Leads a complex department with a focus on implementation.
  • Typically executes on a short to medium term strategies.
