About The Position

Home Depot’s Orange Apron Media (OAM) is seeking a Manager of Reporting & Insights to lead measurement strategy and execution for a category of Supplier/Advertisers within our retail media network. In this role, you will guide a team of Senior Analysts to uncover performance insights and drive media effectiveness. Your team will evaluate marketing impact using tools such as MTA ROAS, media delivery analytics, and advanced reporting, as well as brand lift, A/B testing, and incrementality studies to deliver clear, actionable learnings to internal and external stakeholders. You will be a key driver of Return on Marketing Objective (ROMO) storytelling—translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence advertiser growth and shape future investment strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who is passionate about both marketing measurement and team development. You should bring an ownership mindset, a collaborative spirit, and strong communication skills to support cross-functional partners and foster excellence across people, processes, and products.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL for data extraction and hypothesis testing; experienced in data visualization tools such as Tableau to build compelling, insight-driven narratives.
  • Proven success in building and scaling test-and-learn functions to enhance media performance and inform optimization strategies.
  • Track record of leading, developing, and scaling high-performing teams in fast-growing environments, with a focus on accountability, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in navigating organizational change, fostering cross-functional alignment, and building strong partnerships across teams.
  • Ability to conduct competitive research and apply insights to inform strategy and innovation.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • 5 years of work experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data using advanced statistical, econometric and quantitative analysis techniques.
  • Expertise in quantitative theories and techniques (regression, decision trees, logistic regression, cluster/factor analysis and ANOVA etc) and their role in a business context.
  • Skilled in the use of statistical programming software, especially SAS or R.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access.
  • Proficiency in working with large relational databases, especially Teradata, Netezza and Hadoop.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics across digital media and retail, with direct experience applying methods like Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and brand lift.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to product manage measurement roadmaps and offerings, ensuring solutions meet the evolving needs of non‑endemic and emerging segments.

Responsibilities

  • Partner w/marketing & merchandising leadership to identify business needs for customer analytics.
  • Provide thought partnership in strategic merchandising & marketing decisions.
  • Ensure accurate & timely completion of various projects by effectively utilizing offshore & onsite resources.
  • Develop best in class methodologies to extract actionable insights from new data streams like mobile app, social and clickstream data.
  • Mentor new team members and provide Subject Matter Expertise in Statistical analytic techniques.
  • Develop Predictive models to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Provide analytical and customer-centric decision support to Marketing & Merchandising teams.
  • Leverage customer database and other information systems to identify, integrate and analyze data.
  • Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects or categories to gauge business impact and opportunities for improvement.
