About The Position

The Manager, Replenishment and Inventory Solutions leads inventory planning and supply chain execution to optimize product flow and availability. This role drives sales and inventory performance through strategic collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and promotional timing. The position emphasizes data-driven root cause analysis to resolve supply disruptions and improve inventory health. The Breakfast, Baking, and Commodities Merchandising Execution team ensures customers have access to the products they need across all shopping channels. Replenishment Inventory Solutions Managers collaborate with merchants, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to develop and implement inventory strategies that optimize product availability in stores and fulfillment centers. The team focuses on maintaining balanced inventory levels, improving in-stock performance, and responding swiftly to changing demand. By aligning inventory investments with operational efficiency, they deliver a seamless shopping experience nationwide, supporting Walmart’s commitment to meeting customer needs effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in inventory management, replenishment, and supply chain planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies.
  • Experience managing inventory flows, purchase orders, and responding to supply disruptions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team development, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in utilizing inventory systems to optimize product flow and improve inventory health metrics.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, data analytics, business, or related area and 2 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area.
