This position, reporting to the General Manager Southeast Asia, is for a Remote Monitoring Manager to join the team in Balikpapan, Indonesia on a full-time basis. The role is responsible for the full operational oversight, performance, and strategic direction of the Remote Monitoring Centre (RMC) activities within an assigned region, focusing on safety-critical monitoring for a range of mining operations. The successful candidate will lead a team in operational performance and safety-critical monitoring activities, while partnering with customers on service support, improvement initiatives, and operational optimization guidance.

Requirements

• Experienced Team Lead/Manager with a background in remote monitoring or IOT / IT technology, ideally within a live monitoring environment.
• Passionate people leader, ready to take their career in the growing mining sector.
• Background in IT/IOT operations, ideally within mining or resources-based sector.
• Proven success in team leadership across coaching, developing, and leading a team within an operational/KPI environment.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment, understanding of production or operational criticalities.
• Ability to lead directives within a live monitoring environment and event validation metric.
• Proven success in collaborating in a customer-centric, solution-focused engagement.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Working rights for Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous awareness of all regional monitoring activities, including live operations, workload conditions, and system performance.
• Own Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance across all monitored sites within the region.
• Coordinate workforce coverage for shift gaps, absenteeism, and operational surges.
• Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring efficiency, validation accuracy, and response effectiveness.
