Job Summary Summary Responsible for managing and supervising a team of therapists, ensuring that all therapy services are delivered in accordance with established quality standards, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the therapy department. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Occupational Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Physical Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Physical Therapy Assistant [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Speech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
  • Experience in a hospital, rehab or ambulatory setting 3-5 years required
  • Supervising and training staff.
  • Coordinating patient care.
  • Developing treatment plans and maintaining records.
  • Managing resources and budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the therapy department to ensure that all therapy services are delivered in accordance with established quality standards and best practices.
  • Manage and supervise a team of therapists, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans for clients and provide clinical support as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy services and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Manage the department budget and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the delivery of therapy services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure that the therapy department is in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the therapy department and the outcomes of therapy services.
