Manager - Rehab
About The Position
Responsible for the coordinated efforts of the Rehab staff as they interface with the hospital’s patients, departments, programs and physicians in a manner that is safe, efficient, cost-effective, while maintaining compliance to state, federal and professional standards. The Manager for Rehabilitation Services is responsible for hiring, training and supervising the Rehabilitation staff. The Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining Rehabilitation Services Programs to meet the identified needs of the community. The Manager is administratively responsible for the management of fiscal and personnel resources in Rehabilitation Services.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy with a BS or BA degree OR Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy OR Graduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelors in speech therapy required.
- Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.
- Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state OR Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license OR Licensed by the current state in Speech-Language Pathology.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- MS Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy Certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
