About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. Assists in oversight and leadership within assigned area of responsibility. Duties may include: assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities; plans and allocates resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals; makes business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures; reviews performance data that includes quality, satisfaction, engagement, and financial reports; monitors and measures productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness; participates in the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the area of responsibility; prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track goal accomplishment; leads colleagues using performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage colleague contribution. Primary duty includes the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge, in a field of science or learning, and which requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment and/or includes managing department and regularly directing the work of at least two or more employees. Supervisory authority includes authority to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, discipline, responsibly direct or adjust grievances. May evaluate performance and professional development of staff. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required. May consider a candidate who is currently enrolled and a bachelor’s of nursing (BSN) is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• 3 years staff nurse (RN) is required.
• Licensed in state of practice (RN) is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
