As the Regional Manager for Technical Training, you are a key member of the North & Central America (NCA) Operations Training team reporting to Director, Global Technical Training. You will contribute to the success of Ball by deploying and executing the technical training program within the region (NCA). You will ensure all plants follow the standard process defined by the Director, Technical Training and the Talent Development Community of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will foster a culture of continuous learning and collaborate with HR and plant management to ensure consistent enhanced technical proficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years managing, deploying, and leading a regional execution of technical training across multiple facilities, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical training program execution and managing consistency in training programs across a large region.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning and development methodologies and instructional design of technical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Talent Development COE to utilize the design and development of content and learning methodologies.
  • Execute comprehensive technical training programs (Pathways), ensuring alignment with enterprise standards; and monitor training metrics and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning within the region, emphasizing the importance of ongoing technical development to adapt to evolving industry standards and practices.
  • Work closely with HR and plant management to identify and develop change management plans and communication for plants. Deliver communications to regional stakeholders.
  • Execute the elements of the Ball Operational Excellence training pillar within the region, ensuring stakeholders understand the element requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate training outcomes, progress, and challenges to stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between the plants in the region, the Director of Technical Training and the Talent Development COE to facilitate alignment and coordination of training initiatives.
