Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking an innovative individual for the position of Manager, Regional Surgical Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for regional surgical networks and virtual care, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, provincial directives and system transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a four (4) Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in a health-related field (e.g. Nursing, Health Administration, Health Sciences), from an accredited university and a current certificate of registration in good standing with a regulatory college is required. We are looking for someone with a minimum of minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in healthcare coordination, program development, or system planning within a health care environment. Candidates that possess experience working within surgical services, regional healthcare systems, virtual or integrated care models is preferred. The Surgical Program offers a comprehensive range of services spanning a wide continuum of care for surgical patients. Approximately 16,000 surgeries are performed each year in the specialty areas of neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, oral/dental surgery, ear nose and throat (ENT), thoracic, cardiac surgery, vascular, plastic surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology and general surgery. The hospital has a total of 17 operating room suites on the acute care site.
