The organization is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to join the National Capital Region (NCR) team as the Manager, Recruitment & Admissions. This role involves representing Per Scholas in the NCR, educating prospective learners about the organization's mission, outcomes, and admissions process, and recruiting candidates through various channels including digital outreach, referral partners, and community engagement. The Manager will also analyze applicant pipeline data to suggest improvements for the applicant experience and conversion rates throughout the admissions process.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of business needs and how to source talent to meet those needs
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
  • Prior knowledge or background in IT and a passion for technology is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recruit viable candidates for training classes, focusing on special populations to include veterans, spouses of veterans, young adults, and women.
  • Track, organize, and report on recruitment and enrollment data in Salesforce, comparing it to site and organizational goals and grant deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with referral partner organizations to sustain a pipeline of highly-qualified candidates for training, in partnership with the Managing Director.
  • Attend networking events to increase Per Scholas' visibility in the community.
  • Communicate with candidates, including notifying applicants of their acceptance status.
  • Conduct presentations and administer off-site information sessions as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and regular entry of all data regarding stakeholder groups (applicants, learners, community-based organizations, etc.) in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Per Scholas Marketing and Communications and National Recruitment teams to run recruitment ads on digital channels and ensure timely revisions to collateral materials.
  • Make referrals to supportive services and/or alternative programs for applicants, as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Government Contracts team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all government contracts.
  • Support the coordination of class kickoffs and graduations.
  • Coordinate community partnership engagements.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by campus leadership.
