About The Position

Orthopedic Physicians Alaska (OPA) seeks a highly skilled, dedicated, and professional Receptionist Team Manager to join their rapidly growing and dynamic team. This management position provides supervision to receptionists, working closely with clinical managers and physicians to ensure the smooth running of the reception areas, and efficient and positive patient flow, serving as receptionist as needed. The mission of OrthoAlaska, Orthopedic Physicians Alaska division is to provide the finest orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal care in North America through quality, patient-centered care. Each of our physicians and surgeons works in concert with a certified orthopedic surgical physician assistant and other staff to provide patients an individualized care-team experience. Requirements

  • Three (3) years office experience or educational equivalent
  • One (1) year experience in a leadership role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of leadership and team principles

Responsibilities

  • Assume role of receptionist on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Ensure all persons are received in a professional and courteous manner
  • Produce reports on appointment patterns/trends and recommend improvements
  • Interview, hire and lead staff, acting as a role model for established standards
  • Review and approve PTO requests, manage/input staff schedules, and address absences
