About The Position

The Manager Radiology is responsible for the overall management of administrative, support, and clinical operations for Radiology Imaging departments. The role oversees staff and departmental performance, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, patient and employee satisfaction, and financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site position at Virtua Health’s Washington Township location, working a first shift schedule for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
At least 2–3 years of leadership experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and writing skills.
PC experience, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Certificate of completion or degree from an accredited Radiology Program or equivalent.
Complete the minimum number of continuing education credits required for continued certification/accreditation.
ARRT and NJDEPE license required, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate degree in Radiology Sciences or Business Administration.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Manage staff, including performance appraisals, departmental goal setting, recruiting, orientation, coaching, counseling, and follow-through on action plans.
Support individual and departmental achievement through recognition methods and encourage staff engagement to maintain high employee and patient satisfaction.
Oversee and actively participate in maintaining regulatory requirements.
Oversee departmental quality improvement activities to ensure high clinical quality and safety.
Oversee the NJDEP Quality Assurance Program, including adherence to FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements.
Understand financial statements, develop and operate within budgetary guidelines, justify variances, and identify cost-saving measures.
