About The Position

Lead day-to-day Radiation Oncology department operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Supervise, develop, and manage staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, timekeeping, and employee relations. Coordinate multidisciplinary team activities with physicians, nurses, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient care delivery. Oversee department quality assurance, equipment maintenance, supply management, patient scheduling, billing activities, and operational workflows. Develop and implement departmental policies, maintain regulatory and operational records, and collaborate on strategic planning and capital equipment purchases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required
  • Current registration, certification, or board credentials in a radiation specialty required
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience required
  • Experience overseeing Radiation Oncology department operations and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care
  • Knowledge of Radiation Oncology practices, billing and coding, healthcare finance, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
