Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Manager 2 to lead the QC inspection team in Sunnyvale, CA. What you'll get to do: Provides overall management of Quality Control (QC) inspection teams by setting and operating to objectives, and providing guidance to direct reports based on goals, objectives, and company policy. Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure quality is inherent in every requirement, design, work product, and end-product delivered by Northrop Grumman Engages on the shop floor and in work activities to provide direct support as needed while additionally coaching and mentoring personnel in quality methods and procedures. Leverages metrics, as well as customer and employee feedback to assess quality performance and risks and drive continuous improvements. Interfaces with customer representatives, including on-site DCMA representatives, concerning projects, operational decisions, and scheduling customer inspection activities. Mains compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and customer requirements. Provide performance reviews and periodic feedback for all direct reports. The manager should be knowledgeable in aerospace and/or military inspection requirements and will report directly to the site Product Assurance Manager. In this role, the Quality Manager collaborates with manufacturing and engineering functions to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive prior.
