About The Position

In this role, you will manage the Chemical Laboratory to assure compliance with GMP requirements per FDA QSR 21 CFR 820, Cosmetics GMP, EU Cosmetics GMP per ISO22716, and Canadian Natural Health Product Regulations. You will ensure that effective laboratory controls are established and monitored for continuous improvements. Your role will involve developing and implementing quality controls for purchased chemicals and manufactured batches, qualifying new inspection and chemical test methods, and supporting the qualification of chemical and microbiological test methods executed by external laboratories. You will also perform routine audits of the laboratory to identify opportunities for improvement and conduct annual product reviews per FDA GMP and Health Canada NHP Regulations. Additionally, you will manage the daily monitoring of purified water quality.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in Quality Lab Specifications, Quality Control Management, Chemical Microbiology test methods.

Prefer 3+ years of experience including leading people.
