About The Position
In this role you will manage the Chemical Laboratory to assure compliance to GMP requirements per FDA QSR 21 CFR 820, Cosmetics GMP, EU Cosmetics GMP per ISO22716 and Canadian Natural Health Product Regulations. Assure that effective laboratory controls are established and monitored for continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Lab Specifications, Quality Control Management, Chemical Microbiology test methods.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 3+ years of experience including leading people.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality controls for purchased chemicals and manufactured batches.
- Qualification of new inspection and chemical test methods. Support chemical and microbiological test method qualification of the methods executed by external laboratories.
- Perform routine audit of the laboratory and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Perform annual product review per FDA GMP and Health Canada NHP Regulations.
- Manage daily monitoring of the purified water quality.
