POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Purchasing and Fleet Manager is responsible for supervising Purchasing and Fleet activities for the Organization. The Manager completes and oversees the day to day purchasing activities ensuring compliance with Agency policies and procedures. The Manager ensures requested items are procured in a timely fashion utilizing efficient means and negotiating techniques for best quality and price. The Manager oversees Fleet procurement, repairs/maintenance and relocations of vehicles and coordinates training for vehicle safety. The Manager ensures the fleet is in good operating condition and cycles vehicles as needed.
