About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Provider Engagement Manager (PEM) to join our fast-growing organization in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in diverse managed care organizations with an understanding of key drivers for performance.
  • Proven expertise in Medicare Advantage and value-based models of care.

  • Proficient in Windows-based technologies (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or Health Service or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in the health care industry working with an IPA/Medical Group, Health Plan, or hospital, preferably with direct physician interaction.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Medicare Advantage, CMS and/or CMMI programs such as Accountable Care Organization Model or DCE models.
  • 5+ years of cross-collaboration experience in complex project management and implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical operations experience preferred, including operational metrics and financial understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key stakeholder in relationships with primary care clinic leadership, providers, and staff.
  • Act as the operational dyad partner to care management.
  • Achieve goals specific to assigned primary care clinics and the company.
  • Manage the operational and financial performance for assigned primary care clinics.
  • Develop strategy, execute tactics, and drive performance to achieve company goals.
  • Develop metrics and tools to measure progress toward company goals.
  • Monitor performance against strategic objectives/directives.
  • Analyze data for cost reduction initiatives and opportunities for improved delivery of appropriate coordinated care to patients.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and process management support to Shared Services departments, project management team, and key process owners.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services departments to support initiatives, services, and support to assigned primary care clinics to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Organize and facilitate Joint Operations Committee meetings with assigned primary care clinics and monthly operating review meetings with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and present key reports to update leadership.
  • Update metrics trackers for reporting purposes, identify areas of underperformance, and develop/execute plans to correct.
  • Promote P3 Care Model programs, services, and support that lead to better patient outcomes and healthier lives.
  • Develop and build provider engagement, strengthening the relationship between P3 and providers and staff.
  • Create lasting engagement with primary care clinic leadership and providers, enabling them to use data effectively to coordinate care and reduce inappropriate care.
  • Identify and resolve issues that impact the ability to deliver effective, high-quality health care.
  • Coach staff on effective communication with primary care leadership and providers, helping to problem-solve issues as they arise.
  • Identify technology and procedure improvements for increased efficiencies, accuracy, and continuous process improvements.
  • Manage resource allocation to maximize effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company and CMS regulatory requirements and mandates.
