About The Position

The Manager, Project Support Engineer leads advanced technical support for integrated security solutions, including CCTV, alarm, intrusion, and access control systems. This role directs resolution of escalated issues, collaborates cross-functionally to engineer effective solutions, and drives continuous improvement through expert guidance. The manager fosters strong partnerships with stakeholders, ensures compliance with company standards, and promotes a culture of accountability and excellence. By leveraging technical expertise and strategic insight, this position supports business objectives while enhancing customer and associate experiences in alignment with Walmart’s values and operational goals. This is not a cybersecurity role. Our team consists of subject matter experts managing one of the largest security technology environments globally. We provide advanced technical support across multiple systems, including CCTV, alarm, intrusion, and access control. The team collaborates cross-functionally to resolve escalations, engineer solutions, and improve processes. Members apply their expertise to deliver effective business solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Requirements

  • Proven expertise in advanced technical support for CCTV, alarm, intrusion, access control, and paging/music systems.
  • Strong skills in root cause analysis and incident management to resolve complex technical escalations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to engineer and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Proficiency with security systems, access controls, and security technology tools including JIRA and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical guidance and best practices to field technicians and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and fostering high-performing teams aligned with company values.
  • Commitment to integrity, compliance, and delivering customer-focused business results.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for CCTV, alarm, intrusion, access control, and paging/music systems.
  • Identify systemic technical issues and develop technical bulletins for field technicians.
  • Verify proper integration and programming of security and communication systems.
  • Serve as primary contact for resolving escalations involving multiple security technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer technical solutions addressing business challenges.
  • Advise and guide teams on best practices to align with customer and business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support business solutions.
  • Monitor progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to organizational changes.
