About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and delivering complex real estate, facilities, and infrastructure projects that support DePuy Synthes’ business operations. The Manager, Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with corporate, regulatory, and safety standards. This position partners closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into well‑planned, high‑quality project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive project management experience supporting facilities, real estate, or corporate operations projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience working with external vendors, contractors, and professional service firms.
  • English proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
  • Experience within a regulated environment such as healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Familiarity with corporate real estate, facilities management, or capital project delivery.
  • Experience supporting global or multi‑site project portfolios.
  • Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Strong financial acumen, including capital planning and cost control.
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for real estate, facilities, and corporate operations initiatives, from concept through close‑out.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, including E&PS, Finance, Procurement, EH&S, IT, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and timely decision‑making.
  • Manage external consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure performance, quality, and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations, building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Track project performance, report status to leadership, and proactively address issues and changes.
  • Support continuous improvement by applying project management best practices, lessons learned, and standard processes.
