About The Position

The Manager, Production is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure efficient, high-quality output that meets company standards and customer expectations. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Manager will lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills daily to effectively guide and motivate their team, ensuring clear understanding of production goals and expectations.
• Analytical skills are essential for interpreting production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.
• Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems supports accurate scheduling, resource allocation, and real-time monitoring of operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards is applied consistently to maintain a safe working environment and deliver products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills are critical for addressing unexpected challenges and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or MBA.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet established targets and deadlines.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Implement and maintain production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues, improve processes, and support new product introductions.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage budgets related to production operations, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Lead initiatives to enhance workplace safety, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
