About The Position

Our Hotels organization is evolving, and we are launching a dedicated Tax and Compliance vertical to ensure our platform meets global regulatory standards. Historically, tax requirements lived across various teams; now, we are giving this domain a formal "home." As the first Product Manager for this new team, you will lead a lean, scrappy pod of engineers, focused on building a scalable, compliant foundation. This is a "0-to-1" opportunity characterized by high ambiguity and heavy stakeholder management. You will act as the strategic bridge between Legal, Risk, and Engineering, taking complex regulatory advice and translating it into a technical roadmap. Because tax impacts nearly every corner of our tech stack, you will navigate diverse touchpoints across the organization to ensure our back-end systems handle tax logic with precision. Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.
