About The Position

This role is responsible for contributing to the product strategy and roadmap for a defined product area, by managing a team while working under the direction of leadership. Specifically, this role leads the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our case management platform and capabilities portfolio, with a strong emphasis on leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and optimize the case manager's workflow. This role focuses on deeply understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development decisions. The incumbent works cross-functionally to manage a team that is executing a portfolio roadmap or portfolio of product roadmaps and delivering high-quality products that meet business objectives. They will manage the product backlog for a specific product or feature set.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field
  • 3 years of Leadership Experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques.

  • Deep technical aptitude with the ability to engage in detailed discussions with engineering teams, understand system architecture, and assess technical feasibility.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems in case management into clear, actionable product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience in product managing technical solutions, platforms, or complex systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze, optimize, and map business processes, particularly in a healthcare or operations context, to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for technological intervention.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making, including the use of metrics to assess product performance and operational impact.
  • Experience in healthcare industry
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Prior experience with clinical or case management systems, workflow automation, or enterprise-level healthcare technology platforms.
  • Background in solutions architecture, business analysis with a technical focus, or engineering management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
  • Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary
  • Support leadership in developing and refining product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in requirement definition and backlog management executed by product management team
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Manage product development process across portfolio of products.
  • Support the product management team as they facilitate the process for their individual products within the portfolio.
  • Ensure quality and strategic foresight across the portfolio
  • Engage with customers and users to gather feedback and understand their needs.
  • Participate in user testing and other research activities.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate effectively with the product management team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the healthcare sector and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
