About The Position

The Product GTM Strategy team sits within Salesforce's Product COO organization and serves as the central strategy, planning, and business performance function across Salesforce's product portfolio. The team partners with Product leadership, Cloud COOs, Finance, Sales Strategy, and GTM organizations to drive portfolio performance, executive operating rhythms, strategic planning, forecasting, and GTM execution readiness. This role will lead critical analytical workstreams and strategic initiatives that support Salesforce's product growth agenda. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Finance, and GTM organizations to generate business insights, influence decision-making, and drive operational excellence across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, product strategy, sales strategy, business operations, finance, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of leading analytical workstreams and influencing business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business challenges, synthesize complex information, and translate data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence cross-functional leaders across Product, Finance, GTM, and Operations organizations, driving alignment and outcomes without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, including experience developing executive-ready presentations, business cases, and strategic narratives that inform decision-making.
  • AI-native mindset with demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Agentforce, AI Expert Suite, DevBar, Slack Skills, or similar platforms) to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, enhance decision-making, and improve team productivity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product organization's strategic lead within Salesforce's annual Go for Growth (G4G) planning process, partnering with Finance, Sales Strategy, Compensation, Operations, and Product leadership to ensure Product priorities, portfolio structures, and growth objectives are reflected in downstream planning, target-setting, and execution activities.
  • Lead Product-owned planning and design workstreams within G4G, including Accountability Performance Matrix (APM) design, helping define and operationalize Salesforce's L1, L2, and L3 product hierarchy that underpins forecasting, target setting, quota allocation, compensation, performance reporting, and executive decision-making across the business.
  • Represent the Product organization in cross-functional planning forums, driving alignment on product portfolio strategy, organizational dependencies, target-setting methodologies, and key planning decisions that impact Product and GTM execution.
  • Drive AI & Data Attribution strategy initiatives, partnering across Product, Finance, Sales Strategy, and Analytics teams to design scalable attribution methodologies, reporting frameworks, and performance insights that improve visibility into emerging growth businesses.
  • Support complex cross-functional programs and governance processes, identifying dependencies, managing stakeholder alignment, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful execution of high-priority strategic initiatives.
  • Support portfolio forecasting, executive business reviews, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and performance reporting by developing insights, analyses, and recommendations that help Product leadership assess business health and performance trends.
