The Global Consumer Products and Processing Team is searching for a visionary Design Manager to partner with the Consumer Core products and Processing management team to deliver best-in-class products that generate value for both customers and end users, driving tangible business results.

  • Deep understanding of user experience, business objectives, and the technologies involved in creating well-rounded products.
  • Stay informed about design best practices across multiple industries, continuously seeking inspiration and innovation.
  • Actively advocate for and utilize Design Thinking methodology, boasting a successful track record of bringing products to market using this approach.
  • Champion an inclusive, people-centric, and data-driven design philosophy, valuing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Sharp mind that questions the status quo, constantly seeking ways to improve and optimize solutions.
  • Proven history of delivering high-quality work that consistently meets or exceeds established standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, unified, and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Prioritize design initiatives, address roadblocks, and provide clear direction as the central design voice during planning.
  • Drive teamwork by hosting design workshops and reviews, involving partners, and creating collaborative opportunities to cultivate innovation.
  • Manage complex design projects, overseeing scope, resource allocation, and timelines to deliver high-quality results that meet established goals.
  • Establish and enforce design standards, ensuring visual design and user experience (UX) decisions align with these standards for a cohesive brand experience.
  • Maintain and guard in the implementation of Made design system across all programs and products.
  • Provide design materials to win new business and create narratives for pitch teams.
  • Review and approve design deliverables to maintain consistently high-quality standards.
