Job Overview The Manager, Strategy, Performance & Policies plays a key role in supporting the Procurement function’s strategy execution by driving performance management, policy development, and governance activities across DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with Procurement leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes, standardized processes, and clear policy frameworks. The position offers strong exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to influence how the organization measures success, manages risk, and operates effectively as it evolves as a standalone company. Key Responsibilities Support development and execution of Procurement's strategic initiatives by defining performance metrics, tracking outcomes, and preparing insights for leadership decision‑making. Lead performance management processes, including KPI development, scorecards, dashboards, and regular business reviews. Develop, maintain, and govern policies, standards, and operating guidelines to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and compliance requirements. Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to ensure policies and performance frameworks are practical, aligned, and consistently applied. Analyze business performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Support enterprise governance forums by preparing materials, reporting progress, and monitoring adherence to approved strategies and policies.
