About The Position

Serve as the central owner within the procurement and logistics organization for pipeline program management, spend and savings alignment, and reporting integrity. Drive cross-functional accountability, strengthen data accuracy and trust, and proactively identify risks, leakage, and process gaps while establishing scalable, sustainable processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience partnering with Finance on spend, savings, and forecasting alignment
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to reconcile and validate complex datasets
  • Demonstrated ownership of reporting integrity and audit-ready processes
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders (procurement, finance, engineering)
  • Strong track record driving accountability, enforcing timelines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Ability to structure and manage savings pipelines with sufficient detail for validation and transparency
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and financial systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems)
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, data gaps, and reporting inconsistencies
  • Experience building trusted, standardized reporting frameworks
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, cost drivers, and savings methodologies
  • Experience tracking, validating, and reporting procurement savings and spend performance
  • Familiarity with price leakage concepts and cost control mechanisms
  • Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate data into clear insights for leadership
  • Experience leading review cadences (MBRs/QBRs) and presenting risks, gaps, and performance
  • Ability to influence without authority across cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to proactively identify risks, process gaps, and root cause issues
  • Experience resolving complex cross-functional challenges impacting reporting accuracy and timing
  • Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience redesigning workflows to improve scalability, efficiency, and consistency
  • Track record driving automation to reduce manual reporting and improve data reliability
  • Familiarity with digital tools and data infrastructure to enable reporting transformation

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary procurement contact for finance
  • Reconcile system-generated reports with finance reporting and procurement expectations
  • Serve as go-to resource for procurement spend and savings reporting
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting gaps
  • Monitor and minimize price leakage
  • Own savings pipeline as a cross-functional program
  • Drive timely updates across procurement, finance, and engineering
  • Enforce deadlines and ensure stakeholder accountability
  • Ensure sufficient project-level detail to support auditability, accuracy, and transparency
  • Reduce manual burden on Commodity Managers through additional automation
  • Lead regular pipeline and savings review cadences
  • Provide clear visibility into performance, risks, and gaps
  • Bridge current vs prior forecasts to explain key variances
  • Consolidate and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership
  • Support leadership inquiries with clear, data-backed insights
  • Proactively identify data inconsistencies, process gaps, and reporting risks
  • Troubleshoot cross-functional issues across procurement and finance
  • Address root causes impacting accuracy, timing, and alignment
  • Strengthen leadership confidence in savings and spend reporting
  • Reduce reliance on manual reporting, drive adoptions of automated solutions
  • Improve pipeline detail and structure to support audit readiness
  • Redesign workflows to improve scalability, consistency, and efficiency
