About The Position

The Manager, Process & Performance Improvement is a member of the Engineering Excellence team, responsible for establishing a fit-for-purpose engineering work process, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting required governance. Your role Establish and maintain engineering design processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards. Provide governance and oversight to ensure consistency across projects in alignment, processes, and execution. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, innovation, and organizational learning. Use data analytics and performance metrics to optimize engineering workflows and decision-making. Drive process efficiency through mapping, modeling, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and supervise Engineering Coordinators, including coaching, development, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Educational background in engineering (degree or diploma), with a P.Eng. and PMP considered strong assets.
  • Minimum 10 years of project delivery experience, including at least 3 years in process improvement roles.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive performance improvements in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing change, teams, and complex projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with technical proficiency and eligibility for federal security clearance.
