About The Position

The Pricing Analyst Manager is a leadership position for Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. This position plays a key role in the pricing analysis function—setting pricing strategy and partnering with senior management across multiple Lyons divisions to drive margin and profitability.

Requirements

  • Advanced skills in Excel with experience using Word documents and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Access is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Possess excellent organizational, planning and overall time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Must work well in a group setting and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related analytical field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Lyons’ pricing methodology and governance, recommending pricing policies and reviewing quotes, discounts, and exception requests against approved guidelines.
  • Partner with sales and sourcing teams to provide the pricing analysis that supports margin, revenue, and profitability targets across Lyons divisions.
  • Build and maintain profitability models, conduct cost-driver research, and analyze commodity and raw material cost trends over time to inform and implement customer pricing.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc sales analyses for senior management and the sales team, identifying issues, opportunities, and trends, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Forecast key raw material requirements using a combination of production data and sales forecasts.
  • Support key customers with special analyses, including additional pricing support and determining finished goods and raw material coverage.
  • Maintain pricing systems and processes, safeguarding data integrity within Lyons’ ERP and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Serve as a technical resource to junior analysts, reviewing their work for accuracy and sharing pricing and modeling best practices.
