About The Position

The Manager, Policy and Strategic Planning is responsible for leading the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of policies, legislation, and strategic planning initiatives that advance the Nunavut Housing Corporation’s (NHC) mandate and support positive housing outcomes across Nunavut. This role requires integrative leadership, the ability to bring together diverse perspectives, priorities, and partners to achieve shared goals. The Manager provides expert advice to senior leadership and leads a team responsible for advancing policy, legislative, and strategic planning initiatives. The role involves working across departments, governments, partner organizations, and communities to align policy and strategic priorities, build consensus on complex issues, and ensure that legislative requirements, government priorities, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, and community needs are reflected in policy and planning decisions.
