About The Position

The Manager, PMO is responsible for leading the Project Management Office at Intellicene, driving the successful delivery of physical security projects including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection, and integrated security solutions. This role ensures consistent execution across client deployments, supports operational scalability, and aligns project delivery with customer expectations and business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing complex, multi-site security implementations and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in physical security, low-voltage systems, or related industries
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing project managers or cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-site installations (e.g., access control, CCTV, intrusion systems)
  • Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and client delivery expectations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in client-facing environments

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Experience with enterprise security platforms (e.g., LenelS2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon)
  • Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and coordination with general contractors
  • Knowledge of low-voltage systems, networking fundamentals, and system integration

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mature Intellicene’s PMO, establishing standardized processes, tools, and governance for security system deployments
  • Oversee a portfolio of physical security projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high customer satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers responsible for installation and integration projects
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, field operations, sales, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and enforce project methodologies tailored to physical security deployments (site assessments, installation, commissioning, handoff)
  • Drive resource planning across technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, margins, and change orders
  • Identify risks related to site conditions, supply chain, compliance, and installation constraints, and proactively mitigate them
  • Establish reporting dashboards for leadership visibility into project health and performance
  • Support pre-sales activities, including scope validation, timelines, and project feasibility assessments
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client security requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and PMO maturity
