About The Position

This position will provide leadership of the Power Conversion product line for Power Innovations International (Pii). Included is managing business development of the product line along with the new product development roadmap and its execution. This role will manage the existing hardware and embedded firmware, formulate and implement the product line strategy, marketing plans and profitable growth programs for Pii’s power conversion modules and associated assemblies. In addition, this position will lead Pii’s project management organization (PMO) for EV Charging and Edge Energy to support new product development and introduction. During product development, this position will lead a cross functional team to ensure efficient, on-time, on-budget program.

Requirements

Five years relevant product management or application engineering experience in electrical industry
Knowledge of electrical systems applications, equipment and standards
High-level management and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Preferred two years experience in electric vehicle, energy storage or power conversion field

Responsibilities

Manage the product life cycle and operational footprint of Pii’s Power Conversion portfolio, inclusive of hardware and firmware.
Evaluate program financial viability and product family profitability, working closely with sales, marketing and project management.
Gathers/Documents voice of customer and market knowledge to implement in new product development projects and matching PII products to customer/market needs
Create and update sales team enablement/training along with helping a positive digital end-customer experience.
Travel as required in position to gather VOC and provide application support
Manage and Lead Pii’s project managers
Create and implement standardized project management tools and processes
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program and product status throughout its life cycle.
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Establish and maintain well defined and concise project goals
