About The Position
The Manager - Peer Review supports the Peer Review Program by interpreting professional standards, advising partners, and advancing programs that enhance audit quality. The role evaluates program data and current standards to identify education and process-improvement opportunities. The position reports to a Senior Manager, follows a hybrid work schedule, and is an individual-contributor role.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant designation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of public accounting experience or equivalent, with an emphasis on audit and attest work.
Responsibilities
- Support committees, task forces, and regulators in developing and monitoring the Peer Review Program strategy.
- Advise administering entities, peer reviewers, and firms on program administration and professional standards.
- Monitor current standards and services and assess their effect on the Program.
- Develop processes, guidance, training, and resources that support audit quality and Association priorities.
- Perform technical reviews and oversight activities and support fair procedures for reviewers and firms.
