About The Position

The Manager of Fintech Payment Operations will supervise the bank’s Fintech billing and invoicing functions and manage network and processor paperwork and operational setup of these relationships and associated products. They will work with Deposits Services, Accounting, Information Services, Compliance, Audit, Client Relations and Fintech clients to manage operational and customer service items.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of banking account or operations experience required.
  • Superior skill set in the use of Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • In-depth understanding of banking and non-traditional bank products regulatory environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information to leadership management committees and co-workers.
  • Comprehensive experience in Prepaid, Payments, financial industry or accounting required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with AI tools and maintains an open, curious approach to emerging technologies.

  • College degree in finance or business-related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the bank’s operational relationships with Visa, Mastercard and Discover, serving as the primary point of contact for network-related matters.
  • Review, and submit all required network documentation, including setup forms, program updates, and partner provisioning.
  • Maintain administrative access to network portals and ensure accurate use of reporting and billing tools.
  • Responsible for network quarterly reporting collection and submissions.
  • Analyze and validate monthly network invoices; resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal teams and network contacts.
  • Oversee the Partner billing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of billing statements according to contract.
  • Monitor and ensure timely payment of network fees, dues, and drawdowns; approve and coordinate wire transfers as needed.
  • Lead change management efforts for network updates, billing changes, and program modifications in collaboration with processors and program managers.
  • Review and approve daily funds movement entries via Online Banking, Block File processing and daily wire approvals.
  • Support new program implementations and winddowns by overseeing network setup and billing requirements.
  • Coordinate with Client Relationship Managers and processors to resolve escalated network issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with network rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Align staffing strategies with business growth and operational needs.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Prepare for internal and external audits related to Fintech and Payments products.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • AI advocate, change agent and results champion
  • Supervises the Payment Operations Specialists. Responsible for the hiring, performance management and development of these employees.
