This position is responsible for the planning, management, implementation, and evaluation of operations and services to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness within the Critical Care unit. The role involves promoting patient safety, developing Performance Improvement projects, and ensuring adherence to standards of practice and regulatory requirements. The Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for assigned areas and may cover divisional responsibilities as needed. This includes budget preparation and administration, staff selection, development, motivation, and evaluation, as well as maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external contacts. The role also emphasizes personal and professional growth and development.
