About The Position

The RCM-Manager of Insurance/Benefits Verification for the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) (which includes the MSHS and the Faculty Practice Plan) assumes complete accountability/responsibility for the direction and management of the insurance/benefit verification teams and supports staff in all areas assigned during hours of operation. Oversees the day-to-day operations, which includes but is not limited to ensuring accuracy and completeness of registration, insurance, and guarantor information, as well as compliance with all regulations pertaining to the process. This role ensures that all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize revenue, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the patient financial experience. Establishes a culture of service excellence, focusing on patient, provider and colleague satisfaction and engagement. Works collaboratively with clinical and provider staff to foster excellence in a manner that ensures patient quality and safety.
