About The Position

The Manager, Revenue Cycle Integration & Performance provides operational leadership and strategic support across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functions. This role is responsible for integrating performance improvement, staff training, data analytics, and project management to drive efficiency, enhance quality, and optimize financial outcomes. The Manager serves as a key liaison between operations, quality, training, and leadership, translating data-driven insights into actionable initiatives. This position supports the Associate Administrator of Patient Access with Revenue Cycle Operations in executing strategic priorities, including denials prevention, payer performance, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • 5 years Experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or patient access with project management and/or major impact project.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle operations including registration, billing, denials, and payer processes
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable operational improvements
  • Experience with performance improvement methodologies and workflow optimization
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data/reporting tools
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and monitors patient access and revenue cycle workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and financial outcomes
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Collaborates with department leaders to resolve workflow issues and standardize processes
  • Oversees coordination and alignment of training programs across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functions
  • Aligns training initiatives with identified performance gaps, audit findings, and denial trends
  • Partners with training teams to ensure staff competency and effective onboarding processes
  • Monitors compliance with education and competency requirements
  • Analyzes operational and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborates with analytics teams to develop dashboards and reporting tools
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), including registration accuracy, denial rates, and productivity
  • Prepares and presents performance reports and recommendations to leadership
  • Leads cross-functional projects focused on denials reduction, workflow redesign, and system optimization
  • Develops project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with organizational priorities
  • Tracks progress and ensures projects are completed on time and within scope
  • Evaluates outcomes and ensures sustainability of improvements
  • Serves as liaison between Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Quality, IT, and operational teams
  • Facilitates communication and coordination across departments
  • Supports committees, task forces, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Supports execution of strategic initiatives including denials prevention, payer performance, and operational optimization
  • Develops and prepares reports, presentations, and leadership updates
  • Drives accountability and follow-through on strategic priorities
  • Contributes to planning and implementation of revenue cycle initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • The salary rate range for this position is $99,507.00 - $164,559.00.
