This position has been approved to be Full Office. If telework is approved, you are required to work within the State of California only and if Partial Telework, also come in to the Main Office in Orange, CA, at least two (2) days per week minimum. The Manager PACE Center will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Center and works closely with the Senior Manager Clinical Center to ensure the delivery of participant centered care. You will be a key operational leader at PACE and will act as a liaison between center operations, the rehab team, dietary services, activities, personal care needs, and administrative departments. You will oversee day center operations and participant services including safety, staffing, new participant onboarding, kitchen and dietary, reception, and administrative support. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison within the organization and the community, and drive program development through committees and project implementation. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable health system.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business administration or related field PLUS 5 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity in a health care setting required, preferably in a PACE environment; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying.
3 years of experience managing operations for community-based clinics or centers such as PACE, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) or similar establishments.
3 years of experience working with older adult populations required.
CPR and First-Aid Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of date of hire.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in health care administration, business administration or related field.
Experience overseeing PACE operations, day center, kitchen, and activity departments.
Clinical knowledge and experience.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Responsibilities

50% - Leadership: Cultivates and promotes a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, dignity and accountability. Directs and assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with the leadership team and staff to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department. Works closely with Clinical Senior Manager to implement clinical and operational priorities. Support implementation of clinical policies procedures, and quality initiatives. Hires, manages, trains, reviews and sets goals for the team. Provides guidance to the team regarding Utilization Management and guidelines. Supports the Senior Manger Clinical Center Interdisciplinary functions (IDT), such as leading IDT meetings, overseeing care plans, supporting with clinical areas as needed.
45% - Program Oversight: Oversees the quality of care and safety of PACE participants at the PACE Center and in the community. Ensures the center is adequately staffed and prepared for daily center services. Serves as a liaison between disciplines, leadership and direct staff. Serves as a representative of PACE to the community. Supports and guides operations for day center participant care and services that follow PACE center policies and procedures. Coordinates activities related to new participants. Oversees the PACE kitchen, dietary function, day center, receptionist, and administrative support. Supports the Clinical Center Manager as needed with coverage and IDT functions. Engages proactively with PACE administration to further program development, including participation in working committees and project development/implementation.
5% - Other: Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
