About The Position
MercyOne Genesis serves a 17-county bi-state region of the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline, Ill.) metropolitan area and the surrounding communities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. As the Outpatient Services Manager, you will provide overall direction for the practice and delivery of patient care in the Emergency, Trauma, Emergency Preparedness and Cardiopulmonary departments in accordance with hospital guidelines and organizational philosophies. This includes oversight of management of human and material resources in accordance with hospital, state and federal regulations (such as Joint Commission and Critical Access Hospital standards). Key accountabilities include fostering interdisciplinary collaborative relationships; using critical thinking, designing/implementing performance improvement strategies based on data; and promoting evidence-based practice. Meets PCA specific RN core competencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse in Iowa
- More than 3 years experience required.
