About The Position

The (USA) Manager, Operations leads multiple work streams within the operations organization by designing and executing project plans, managing timelines, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This role involves analyzing data to identify root causes, developing innovative solutions, and driving operational improvements that align with business objectives. The manager provides decision support through data interpretation and influences key stakeholders to enhance efficiency and meet performance goals. Additionally, this position oversees resource allocation, ensures compliance with company standards, and fosters continuous improvement to support overall business success. The Walmart+ Risk & Payments team safeguards the Walmart+ membership by ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable customer interactions. Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Customer Care, the team balances growth, customer experience, and risk management. It develops strategies, processes, and controls to maintain payment integrity, prevent fraud, and support new member experiences. This highly collaborative team works across the Walmart ecosystem to drive sustainable growth, maintain trust, and deliver value to members through effective project and operations management, clear communication, adaptability, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing multiple operational work streams with strong project planning and execution skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve results.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey project status, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Accountability for meeting business goals through continuous process improvement and resource allocation.
  • Adaptability to manage changing priorities and promote a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
