About The Position

The Manager, Operations leads multiple work streams within the operations organization by designing and executing project plans, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. With a focus on accountability and continuous improvement, this position plays a critical role in delivering results that align with Walmart’s strategic goals. Our team drives Walmart Marketplace seller acquisition by generating, enriching, qualifying, and routing leads, managing seller pipelines, optimizing Salesforce data, and enabling Business Development Managers to focus on high-value selling. We manage multiple operational work streams by designing project plans, coordinating timelines, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. The team emphasizes effective communication, accountability, and adaptability to deliver business solutions that improve efficiency and support strategic goals. By leveraging data insights and fostering strong stakeholder relationships, the team ensures successful project execution and continuous process improvement aligned with Walmart’s mission and values.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multiple operational projects with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and accountability in driving continuous improvement and meeting business goals.
  • Expertise in resource allocation, timeline management, and delivering projects on schedule.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to mentor and develop associates while fostering a high-performing team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple operational initiatives by developing project plans, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving execution from concept through implementation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, communicate project status, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze operational and seller pipeline data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and provide actionable recommendations that improve business performance.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes, workflows, and automation that increase operational efficiency and support seller acquisition.
  • Manage and maintain Business Development Manager (BDM) pipelines by enforcing data quality standards, optimizing lead routing and enrichment, and driving consistent Salesforce processes and best practices.
